Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, a member of the BNP union, today decided to make a procession in Dhaka tomorrow to mark the historic day of May, as the police "refused" Permission to hold a workers' rally during the day at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.
Sramik Dal Secretary General, Nurul Islam Khan Nasim, announced the program at a press conference at BNP's Nayapaltan Central Office.
"We were extremely humiliated by the government's failure to give permission to the workers' rally that day, and we strongly condemn and condemn the government's autocratic decision," he said.
He stated that Sramik Dal has decided to take out a rally in front of the central office Nayapaltan of BNP around 10 am tomorrow, marking the 1st of May.
Sramik Dal wanted to hold the workers' rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on May 1st marking the first day of May. The president of BNP, Khaleda Zia, was to organize her program as the chief guest. However, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police did not give permission to the party to hold the rally.
